About

What would Emily Dickinson have made of the blogosphere! This reclusive master of passionate yet pithy poetry would have been appalled at the transition from a filter-then-publish world to our publish-then-filter web.

But here we are. Where Ms Dickinson hid masterpieces even from family members, my worthless verbiage will be out there like so much flotsam and jetsam in cyberspace.  ’Pithy’  is one adjective you would never reach for in trying to describe my ramblings. There will be little of value to anyone else on this blog. Nevertheless I plan to keep croaking about my ideas for teaching English, mostly as a means of reflecting on my own practice. An ‘admiring bog’  – or any old bog, for that matter –  suits me just fine as an audience, thank you!

I teach English (as well as History and Social Studies) at Frogn videregående skole, a high school near in Drøbak (a half-hour drive from Oslo). My special field of interest is ICT and technology integration in the subject areas I teach.
